What is a blog?
Old fart I am, this blogging is definitively new to me, and I am new to it.
My understanding is that this kind of a pubic diary ... so I will make my thoughts when I have any. I hope the diary will not end up in a diarhea of thoughts.
Of course, for the convenience of the reader of this page I should make the effort to introduce the place I am writing about.
Saipan is an island in the Western Pacific, some 15oo miles south of Tokyo and the same distance east of Manila. It is the main island of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. Our climate is great, the water in the lagoon clear like glass, the people mainly friendly.
As soon as I have figured out how to work a digital camera, I will post pictures of this place.
If anybody ever reads this, please feel free to comment.
